Job Title: Apttus CPQ Developer

Experience: 5+ years

Position Overview:
The Apttus CPQ Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions using the Apttus Configure Price Quote (CPQ) platform. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into technical solutions within the Apttus CPQ framework. The developer will also provide expertise in customizing and extending Apttus CPQ functionalities to meet specific business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to pricing, quoting, and contract management.
2. Design, develop, and implement solutions using the Apttus CPQ platform to automate and streamline the sales quoting process.
3. Customize Apttus CPQ functionalities, including but not limited to product configuration, pricing rules, discounting, approvals, and document generation.
4. Integrate Apttus CPQ with other systems such as CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
5. Configure and maintain Apttus CPQ objects, such as product catalog, price books, quote templates, and workflows.
6. Develop and maintain Apttus CPQ extensions using technologies such as Apex, JavaScript, and Visualforce.
7. Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of developed solutions.
8. Provide technical expertise and support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues and resolving defects.
9. Stay updated with Apttus CPQ product releases and industry best practices to continuously improve the implementation and support processes.
10. Document technical designs, configurations, and customizations for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in implementing and customizing Apttus CPQ solutions.
• Proficiency in Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning.
• Strong understanding of CPQ concepts such as product configuration, pricing, quoting, and approval processes.
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder are preferred.
• Apttus CPQ certifications are a plus.
