Job Description:
· As a L2 or L3 Application Support Engineer you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving critical and time sensitive issues raised by the customers.
· Should require to take the ownership of individual support issues and communicate with the customers directly over email and phone regarding the status of these issues.
· Make an estimate of the time required to resolve individual issues, and set customer expectation and delivery dates based on that.
· Take ownership of individual modules of the product and learn their overall architecture as well as the detailed inner workings
Must Have Technical Skills:
· 3+ years of strong coding experience in ASP.NET, C#, MVC
· 3+ years of hands on experience in working on SLA based Application support incident response and major incident management.
· Solid experience in Microsoft IDE- Visual Studio 2015 and above
· Hands on experience working in Level 2 and Level 3 Applications support and maintenance
· Ability to write SQL queries and investigate DB logs
· Strong Knowledge in Microsoft IIS
· Strong Knowledge in RDBMS (MS SQL Server)
· Very good experience working with ITSM tools like Service now
· Understanding and practical application of methodologies like ITIL, Agile.
· Possess good command over both written and verbal communication skills
· Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues in code & databases
· Modify code to remedy issues using good designs and architectural patterns.
· Cultivate and support good development practices in the team.
Nice to have Skills:
· Strong scripting experience (JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Angular, HTML 5, React JS, Node JS).
· Hands on experience in working with PostgreSQL Database
· Support and enhancements knowledge in SSRS and SSIS
