Role: Atlassian Applications Engineer

Experience: 7+ years

Location: Pune (Post pandemic candidate must relocate)

Responsibilities: 

1. Primary responsibility is to manage Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) lifecycle (Set-up, integrations, automations, on-prem migrations etc) and Service desk
2. Work closely with cloud engineers, software developers and IT to build out service management applications, data pipelines and reporting
3. Define and implement system requirements for data collection
4. Devise, test, and deploy integrations between applications and other internal systems
5. Deliver near-real time and non-near-real-time data and information to a engineers, developers and leadership
6. Initiate process improvements for new and existing systems.
7. Assist in the development of application integration automation and operational support strategies
8. Develop and implement Atlassian projects/spaces, comprehensive workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes with a strong emphasis on usability, component reusability, security and leverage of various marketplace components
9. Deliver business reporting tools and dashboards for various kpi’s and metrics (uptime, performance, cost management)
10. Implement identity access management solutions that automate user lifecycle management for service management applications and tools using security best practices which are compliant with corporate policies
11. Provide technical support for service management applications and tools

Must have skills:

1. Atlassian Products administration/Management, preferably certified - 5+ years
2. ServiceDesk experience
3. Automation, scripting to write automated workflows and tools integrations with Jira/confluence etc.

Requirements: 
● 7+ years of professional experience with Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related
field
● 3+ Years of advanced skills with Atlassian product suite such as JIRA, Confluence, Portfolio in an
agile environment and Service desk
● 2+ years of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Domo, Tableau, cognos or similar BI tools
● Experience on Programming using Perl, PHP, Python, Shell or equivalent
● Experience using orchestration tools such as Workato or similar Orchestration

● Understanding of Understanding of Identity and Access management such as SSO, SAML, OIDC, IDP  and SSH
● Experience administering applications hosted within a public cloud such as AWS or Azure.
● Experience with SQL and data modeling
● Experience using orchestration tools such as Workato, Rundeck, Chef or similar
● Experience administering applications hosted within a public cloud such as AWS or Azure.
● 3+ years of Experience with Windows and Linux OS administration preferred.
● Excellent communication skills and ability to respond to queries quickly and appropriately.
● Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
● Some international travel may required
