Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software testing, automated testing tools and techniques, and experience working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, desktop, and mobile applications
2. Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools
3. Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to identify test requirements, create test cases, and execute tests
4. Analyze test results and provide detailed and accurate reports to stakeholders
5. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups
6. Continuously improve automated testing processes and methodologies
7. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2. 5+ years of experience in automation testing, preferably in a software development environment
3. Strong experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, or similar tools
4. Good understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
5. Experience in Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
8. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Nice to have:

1. Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or similar tools
2. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar tools
3. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar tools
4. Software testing certifications
