Role: Axway Admin / SFTP

Experience: 6 to 9 Years

Location: Pune / Bangalore / Hyderabad

Job Description: 

1.  The primary role for the candidate is to be able to use Secure file transfer protocols (SFTP) in addition to IWS batch jobs with advanced knowledge of Unix, Windows, and shell scripting

Responsibilities:

1. Need Secure file transfer protocols (SFTP) in addition to IWS batch jobs with  knowledge of Unix, Windows, and shell scripting as mandatory
2. Function as a member   of small   and medium-sized IT projects, representing multiple infrastructure platforms
3.  Possess and display expert skills in the technical troubleshooting, customer service, and communication
4.  Familiar with job scheduling platforms, specifically IBM TIVOLI Workload Scheduler
5.  Analysis of application manual health checks process and look for opportunities for automation
6.  Should have strong Scripting Knowledge (Linux Shell Scripting) and Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) Expertise
7.  Knowledge of the Axway Secure File Transfer Protocol Tool is good to have
8.  Deployment of software using a variety of tools (e.g. self-extracting archives, file copy, Symantec GSS/Altiris DS)
9.  Demonstrate an increasing ability to apply the generalized systems administration and DevOps skillset
10.  Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic
11.  Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct
12.  Review the deployment plan and coordinate with all stakeholders for any change planned for production systems
13.  Verification of system tests to determine application impacts
14.  Participate in change governance (pre-review, install and post validation)
15.  Verify & Analyze the impact of requested changes
16.  Ensure all changes are based on a properly documented and approved Change Request or Work Agreement

Mandatory Skills:

1. SFTP is mandatory, Linux shell scripting ,IWS, Axway Admin (If they have knowledge is also fine)

 Additional Qualifications (Good to have):

1. Certified Axway Secure Transport Admin
2. Systems integration experience is a plus
3. Windows / Linux certification is a plus 
4. Understanding of open source tools
5. Knowledge of Cloud experience is a plus
