Job Title: Business Process Analyst - Remote
Primary Objectives:
This role exists to provide end user support to the sales and account management teams on Order Capture (Apttus/Conga CPQ).
The Order Capture Business Process Analyst will represent and support Commercial Excellence key strategic projects as it related to SAP, Order Capture/Order Automation and CRM integrations. They will work closely with the CRM Success team and will play a key role as Product Owner within the Order Capture (Apttus/Conga CPQ) deployment within Thomson Reuters and ongoing integration with Salesforce.com. This person will work with internal Thomson Reuters areas to understand current business processes, assess Order Capture processes, develop business requirements, consult with DEP/TCS regarding solutions, test for suitable delivery and usability and assist with overall End User Support tickets and issue resolution relative to Order Capture.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with segments and other business units to understand sales and marketing business objectives and translate business needs into actionable system development projects that enhance the capabilities of the current infrastructure with flexible, innovation solutions.
Partner with IT to accomplish goals and provide ongoing communication to various business stakeholders on project status.
Serve as a business subject matter expert on various business systems including Salesforce.com and Order Capture (Apttus CPQ/Conga) solutions
Understand data flows across various systems as well as sales and marketing processes within business systems.
Provide production support to both end users and internal technology resources
Provide ongoing trouble-shooting of issues, partner with IT resources to address issues, and raise data quality issues as necessary.
Provide End User support through ticket triage and resolution and working with tier 2 support when required
Provide best practices, training, and ongoing support to end users
Determine Fit/Gap with Order Capture and new implementations as needed
Facilitate drafting of BRS requirements and story grooming.
Assist in QA, UAT and Production testing as needed to support new development and releases in our agile methodology.
Monitor orders daily and take necessary steps to ensure they are received for fulfillment.
Required Skills:
Apttus CPQ/ Conga (Configure, Price, Quote) experience a must
xAuthor for templates experience is a bonus
Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM applications
3+ years experience focused on CRM, CPQ or business development software
Product Owner responsibilities in past roles would be nice to have
Highly proficient with the Microsoft office suite (Word)
Ability to plan and collect business requirements, define scope and deliver a product that meets expectations. Perform gap analysis and identify solutions or workarounds. Record and report on all product defects and enhancements.
Strong written / oral communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects/clients simultaneously
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
Knowledge of legal and professional services industry a plus
Strong Documentation Skills
Desired Experience:
Apttus/Conga CPQ Admin and/or Salesforce.com Admin certification a plus
Thomson Reuters product and operational experience
Working knowledge of: Saleforce.com, CPQ/CLM solutions, Data Warehouses, Business Objects, SQL, Access, Excel, Visio
