Role: Data Analyst (Experience with DataStage, Spark & Scala)

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:
Full-stack Engineer with hands-on experience in Development and Quality Analyst to meet capital funded business demand. Understand business requirements and Behavioral source system data in order to develop and validate source to target data mappings, including complex SQL & derived logic, which will be used by the Agile engineering team for development and delivery.
Work closely with Agile team Engineers to ensure requirements and design are completely understood and delivered within schedule;
Communicate design to all stakeholders and varying levels of the organization;
Ensure IT deliverables align with business requirements with measurable results;
Collaborate with your fellow Agile team Engineers to ensure testing efforts align with system deliveries and business processes;
Assist Product Owner with User Acceptance testing as needed;
Gain an excellent and detailed understanding of the Behavioral Enterprise Data Warehouse (BH EDW), its schema, and its suite of products;
Perform QA User Acceptance testing when needed;
Work in an Agile Scrum Framework.

Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst working in a Data Warehousing environment
5+ years of experience with ETL development and tools (DataStage, Spark Scala)
5+ years of experience with relational databases (Sybase, MySQL, SQL Server)
5+ years of experience working in Agile Scrum environment or familiarity with Agile terminology.
7+ years of experience translating business requirements into detailed technical system specifications;
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of EDW architecture
Experience working with Behavioral Health source system data
Experience working with Cloud based solutions (Azure) and hands on experience with the data and ETL tools.
UnitedHealth Group work experience
Health care experience
Relational Database experience
Experience creating technical mapping specification
Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions
Familiarity with test cases and test plans
Familiarity with Snowflake and Microsoft Azure
