Job description:

1. Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience.
2. Typically requires a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience deploying and/or administrating infrastructure solutions.
3. Relevant certification is preferred
4. Requires strong knowledge and experience with multiple infrastructure solutions
5. They, install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve the enterprise’s operating environment. They also maintain the ongoing reliability, performance, and support of the infrastructure. This includes monitoring the operating environments, responding to incidents, problems and planning for growth.
6. I&O Administrators deploy the release of new technologies as well as design, install, configure, maintain, and perform testing of PC/server operating systems, networks, and related utilities and hardware.
7. Other responsibilities include troubleshooting problems as reported by users, supporting Web access and electronic messaging services and maintaining a secure systems environment.
8. They also provide infrastructure solutions based on application needs and anticipated growth, install new servers and maintain the infrastructure.
9. Under the direction of the Manager of I&O Administration, the I&O Administrator II will be responsible for the design, installation, and operation of critical IT services in their area of expertise.
10. They will act as the technical liaison between various IT towers, providing critical operational insight into planned implementations and strategies, including the validation of an ongoing solution’s supportability.
11. Will act as an escalation point for technical issues impacting service availability. Work with project managers to coordinate and plan project tasks and resources
