Job Description: 

In depth skill towards development of Control Plane Software with an exposure to various Packet Transport & Layer-2 / Layer-3 Protocols and Technologies

Must have skills:

1. Any one or two protocol development experience : VLAN, QOS, MSTP, RSTP,  ERP, LLF, Ether OAM, LAG, 1588v2, Sync-E,  OSPF, .3ah, MPLS
2. Writing Requirements & Design documents and have worked with Layer 2 switch and working experience with SDK
3. Excellent skills in LINUX, C, Data Structures, Multi-threading, Inter-Process Communications, Memory Management and Debugging, Software architecture design
4. Knowledge of tools : gdb, Cunit, Coverity, Electric Fence, Gcov, Gprof, Spirent
5. Knowledge on configuration Management system : Mercurial (Preferred), Clearcase, CVS, SVN
6. Experience in strict SDLC model of working and create high quality software requirement specification, Basic Design, Detailed design, Unit test Plan, Integration test plan and Code
7. Must be familiar with international standards like IEEE, ITU-T, ETSI, ANSI, MEF, etc
8. C, RTOS
9. Excellent Communication skills in English
10. Self-driven and results-oriented
