Role: DB Lead

Location – WFH/ Post Pandemic – Chennai / Bangalore/Hyderabad

Total years of experience required 8-11 years
Skills:
• Solid understanding of MYSQL or ORACLE DB(7+years)
• Hands on experience with UNIX shell scripting and UNIX commands(5+years)
• Good Understanding of ETL tool (preferably Talend) and any NOSQL DB(Preferably
Cassandra)(~2year)
• Good to have prior experience in retail domain

Roles and Responsibilities:
1.Deep understanding of architecture of relational database (ORACLE or MYSQL)
2.Good data analytics skill and ability to identify any gaps in data processing
3.Ability to develop procedure, function, triggers, indexes, views based on requirement
4.Good grasp on query optimization and familiarity with different optimization techniques in MYSQL
5.Hands on expertise on UNIX commands
6.Familiarity with shell scripting to process flat files into MSQL database
7.Good understanding of cronjobs schedulers
8.Good to have Talend studio /any ETL knowledge
9.Good to have NOSQL database knowledge (Cassandra)
10.Communicate to business stakeholders on requirement gathering ,designing solution approach
11.Good troubleshooting skills for job failure and on premise data fix
12.Ability to provide solution approach on database and query slowness
