Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps architect to manage the software development process and create an automated delivery pipeline that assists in building software more efficiently. The responsibilities of a DevOps architect include assessing, supporting, and implementing high-quality information technology architecture.

As a DevOps architect, you should demonstrate a leadership mindset, solid operational experience, and the ability to problem-solve. Ultimately, a top-notch DevOps Architect should have exceptional communication skills, be knowledgeable about the latest industry trends, and highly innovative.

Responsibilities:

· Facilitating the development process and operations.

· Identifying setbacks and shortcomings.

· Creating suitable DevOps channels across the organization.

· Establishing continuous build/deploy environments to speed up software development.

· Designing efficient practices.

· Delivering comprehensive best practices.

· Managing and reviewing technical operations.

· Guiding the development team.

· Should be able to mitigate the problems and should come with innovative feasible solutions to fit the business requirements

Requirements:

· Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.

· Previous experience working on a 24x7 cloud or SaaS operation team.

· Experience with infrastructure management and monitoring.

· Strong knowledge of DevOps Platform tooling (CI/CD, Jenkins, Gitlab, Ansible, Terraform and Docker.)

· Strong knowledge and implementation experience in dealing with HA/DR kind of capabilities with multi-cloud

· Strong Container Orchestration experience with Kubernetes preferably with AWS (Other Cloud Providers are desirable)

· Strong DevOps Knowledge with build/deploy/troubleshoot experience

· Working knowledge of automation service provisioning and middleware configuration.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong and working experience with AWS managed services like EC2, EBS, EKS, VPC, S3, ALB/ELB, AWS Cli

· Should have proven record of working POCs and implementing the same in Production with best practices

· Good understanding of Helm Charts (Helm Chart creation/packaging/debugging/Updating and all other related activities)

· Highly desirable to have: Certifications in Kubernetes like CKA/CKAD & CKS

· Highly desirable to have: Certifications in AWS (AWS solutions architect)

· Strong analytical skills.

· Some scripting tools like shell scripting / Python

· Good understanding of Unix / Unix Internals

· Nice to have: Ansible, Terraform, Databases
