Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Mumbai / Pune

Experience: 4 to 6 years

Primary Skills:

1. Good understanding of CI/CD pipeline - Implementation experience of CI/CD process
2. Jenkins – Automation server, with plugins built for developing CI/ CD pipelines
3. Docker – Software Containerization Platform - installation and scripts
4. Kubernetes – Container Orchestration tool  - installation and maintenance
5. Hands-on with Linux Commands and Shell Scripting
6. Chef – Configuration Management and Deployment

Secondary Skills:

1. Exposure on application servers as Weblogic, JBOSS or WebSphere
2. Ansible – Configuration Management and Deployment
3. SVN – Subversion, Git and GitHub – Source code management (Version Control System)
4. Exposure to file-bit, LogStash, ELK, Graffana
5. Groovy, Pyhton scripting
6. Exposure to Docker Security Tools like Anchore
7. Exposure to Selenium – Automation testing

Primary Roles and responsibilities:

1. Setting up new CI/CD pipelines and devops automations processes
2. Managing and maintaining existing CI/CD pipelines and devops processes
3. Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
4. Building and setting up new test and deployment environments for multiple products involving UI, Middleware and Database components
5. Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
6. Release management - aligning with release plan, managing release build and packaging as per release plan, managing communicating with customer and internal stakeholders
7. Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’ in automation and CI/CD process including process improvements
8. Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
