Role: Dot Net Senior Developer

• Customize and implement the OneShield Market Solutions suite of products in compliance with OneShield / industry technology, best practices and standards

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare Technical and Design documents
2. Code / Configure while strictly following the guidelines and best practices
3. Unit Test CRs / Issues / ITSRs / ARs
4. Peer Review requirements and design artifacts, as well as code and configuration
5. Integration test in Development / Integration regions
6. Communicate with managers and peers on assigned work
7. Follow defined processes and procedures
8. Adapt / Learn / Use any other technologies as required

Summary of Key skills required:

1. Strong Knowledge in .Net and MS SQL is must
2. Strong database knowledge
3. Knowledge of API and Angular is also preferred
4. Good communication and coordination skills

Desired Technical Skills:
The candidate will have some or all the following skills:

Programming / ALM:

1. Object Oriented Programming
2. Asp.Net, MVC, User Controls, Web Services, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery
3. ADO.Net, MS SQL, IIS
4. Crystal Report or SSRS
5. AJAX, UML, XML, XPATH, XSLT
6. Familiarity with Design Patterns
7. IIS, TFS

Computer Science Fundamentals

1. Database Concepts, writing and debugging SQL
2. PL/SQL programming knowledge
3. Good understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms, Database Normalization and Data Integrity and OOPs

Desired Business Skills:

1. Good written and oral communication in English
2. Good documentation skills
3. Exposure to ISO/CMM processes & procedures
4. Prior experience or basic understanding of Insurance business and Business Automation Process is required

Education:

1. A full time Bachelors’/Masters’ Degree from a recognized university
2. Microsoft Certification on .Net technologies will be a plus

Experience:

1. 4+ years in a business application development role experience in Microsoft technologies
2. Experience in implementing ERP solutions in any industry will be a plus
3. Experience in Agile / Scrum development
4. Proven experience as a full stack developer is an advantage
5. Experience with P&C Insurance Software products will be a plus
6. Candidates are encouraged to mention their open source contribution i.e. Github or other external repository links and other relevant information to show case their prior work on their resumes
