Job description:

1. Validate the data in terms of data integrity, schema validations, duplicate checks,data table indexing, null value checks, data truncation
2. Ensure source and target tables data meet the requirements as designed for ETL process
3. Run validations on table for data counts, removal of junk data, reconciled records,normalised data procedures, table indices
4. Validate data for transformation logic based on mapping documents provided
5. Validate for completeness and correctness of migrated data
6. Identify best practices for the work assigned and generate solutions for process improvement.
7. Adapt at SQL / Oracle databases and different migration processes
8. Ability to work in a dynamic environment (with changing priorities) with aggressive deadlines.
9. Thorough knowledge of Test Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle and proficiency with Test Case Preparation and Execution
10. Participates in reviews and provides feedback in constructive manner
11. Takes ownership of activities planned and delivers through commitment
12. Produce test reports to summarize work accomplished against the plans
13. Excellent written and oral communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Understanding of MS SQL server DB, should be through with SQL procedures,views, Jobs able to help in DB administration jobs like backup, restore,creating new user and permissions management
2. Must have data migrations experience, merging multiple databases
3. Positive attitude towards getting things done along with the ability to work independently
4. Able to think and work independently to contribute to the project
5. Able to talk to the client, and solve the problems
6. Work with a Business users to understand requirements
7. Ability to convert business requirements to Test Cases for ETL testing
8. Knowledge of database and development methodology, principles, and procedures
9. Understand the data migration requirements and provide estimates and plans
10. Build comprehensive scenarios for data queries and reports
11. Participate in the full life-cycle development process from product definition,through design, development, test, release and maintenance.
12. Experience using tools Jira, Git
13. Perform Code reviews and provide recommendations for improvements
