Job Description:

Primary Skill: Guidewire Portal Edge Developer
Secondary Skill: GW producer engage  

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop Front End portal with Guidewire Producer Engage
2. You will need to become familiar with insurance processes, primarily focusing on policy creation and issuance
3. Although your focus will be on building the system of engagement, it will be important for you to gain familiarity with the system of record, Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter
4. You will be expected to leverage best practices and tools to create efficient, reliable, scalable and engaging code

Required Qualifications:

1. Overall 8 + years experience and have minimum 6+ years working on Guidewire Suite
2. Have over 3 years on GW portal implementation and proficient in developing edge services to integrate PC and Producer Engage 
3. Have a minimum of three years’ experience in Javascript primarily proficient in developing new User facing features and components using REACT JS 
4. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles and workflows
5. Experience with Guidewire Digital products, including any of CustomerEngage, ProducerEngage, ServiceRepEngage, EnterpriseEngage, VendorEngage or Edge APIs
6. Experienced in leading and managing the development activities and coach and train junior resources
7. Be familiar with development frameworks, including NodeJS, NPM and Grunt
8. Be familiar with Git, Maven and related technologies to build and deploy microservices
9. Have experience with authentication and authorization with Identity Management, JWT (JSON Web Tokens) and authentication framework
10. Be familiar with programming languages, including any of Java, JavaScript or Gosu
11. Be familiar with unit testing frameworks, including Jasmine, MochaJS, Unit.js and KarmaJS
12. Be highly motivated to learn new technologies 

Not Required, but Highly Desirable:

1. Experience with cloud delivery models, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Firebase, Salesforce App Cloud and Pivotal Cloud Foundry
2. Experience with microservices architecture and development
3. Experience developing insurance or financial services applications
4. Experience with performance monitoring techniques
