Job Description:

Application Integration Specialist in IBM Tools 

1. Strong IBM tool (any) Development & Administrators working knowledge [IBM AppConnect Enterprise (ACE), IBM AppConnect Professional (ACP), IBM AppConnect on Cloud, IBM MQ]
2. Ability to quickly understand and learn about the current architecture and landscape
3. Experience in handling various adapters (both cloud and on-prem)
4. Strong Integration and Support knowledge
5. Strong with ESB and EAI concepts (various data patterns, all protocols such as SFTP, ReST, AS2 etc.)
6. Technically sound in analyzing and writing shell scripts (UNIX/LINUX).
7. Should be able to write scripts using PL/SQL
8. The candidate must demonstrate very strong problem solving and communication and must be willing to work with several product lines on several assignments concurrently
9. Ensure technology integration with web servers, application servers, messaging and integration solutions, security and identity solutions
10. Consults with end users, leadership, vendors, and technicians to assess system and non-functional requirements
11. Open to support over weekends and non-working hours.
12. Fair knowledge on installation, server configurations and administrative skill
13. Should have worked on various integration scenarios (handling ODATA, Flatfiles, JSON, XML etc.)
14. Candidate must have knowledge on key performance tweaking aspects both at tool and server level.
15. Good hands-on knowledge on Security aspects (SSL, TLS, Encryption, Certificates etc.)

Nice to have:

1. Familiar with protocols MQI, AMQP, JMS, Rest and SOAP.
2. Experience with commercial and open source ESB’s : IBM ACE, Mule, SAP PO/CPI, webMethods, ACE, Tumbleweed, Sterling Integrator 
3. Installation of integration related software’s on AIX/Linux and tuning them will be a plus.
4. Project/Service Management experience

Work Experience:

1. 3-7 years of experience in integration specialist
2. Working experience with Brokers, Integration server, queuing mechanisms and protocols (SFTP, AS2, SMTP, HTTPS etc.) 
3. Knowledge of various Integration patterns (PUB/SUB, Point-to-point) and Adapters (SAP, JDBC, JMS, cloud native etc.) 
4. Familiar with both AIX and Red Hat Linux (6 & above), Windows Operating Systems including storage / network infrastructure

Education:

1. Masters/Bachelor's degree or equivalent
2. Any integration developer/administration certification
