Role: Lead for Data Backup Operations Team

Location: India

Band : U4/P1

Job Description:

1. This position is a senior-level technical role focused on backup and recovery technologies
2. Primary responsibilities are managing a large global EMC Networker and Veem environment and supporting backup infrastructure of EMC Data domain
3. Candidate should be subject matter expert with multiple years’ experience managing complex backup and recovery environments
4. Linux and VMWARE skills are preferred

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administration of EMC Networker and Veem backup operation on EMC Data Domain infrastructure
2. Lead global Networker SME Team
3. Work with global L1/L2 support teams and mentor junior personnel
4. Manage code upgrades and updates
5. Automate routine tasks, monitoring and KPI reporting
6. Ensure compliance with established RPO/RTO
7. Server as a technical resource for business and IT projects
8. Work with vendors and OEM for technical and sales support.

Relevant Experience & education:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training.
2. 8+ years related experience
3. EMC Networker backup
4. VEEM backup
5. Dell EMC Data Domain backup appliances
6. Linux, AIX exposure
7. Hypervisors - ESXI
8. Operating systems - Windows, Linux, AIX
9. Data protection - VMWARE site recovery manager
