Role: Magento Technical Architect

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 8+ years

Role Description:

1. Solid knowledge of Magento hosting configuration and best practices
2. Outstanding coding skills in PHP, JavaScript
3. Strong knowledge of DBMS (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle), XML, HTTP, HTML, NT/UNIX systems
4. Strong presentation skills; skilled and effective at presenting to both technical and business audiences
5. Strong knowledge of vulnerability and performance of web application
6. Strong knowledge of requirements analysis
7. Skilled with frameworks such as Zend Framework, Prototype (JS), jQuery (JS).
8. Skilled user of CI tools (Bamboo, TeamCity, Hudson)
9. Understanding of sorting, searching algorithms and data structures and best practices of using them
10. Knowledge of underlying technologies that Magento is built on (ex: LAMP, APIs, etc.)
11. Knowledge of common systems within an eCommerce environment (ex: ERP, CRM, OMS, etc.)
12. Web application fundamentals
13. Experience with web services (SOAP, xmlRPC)
14. Experience with distributed memory object caching systems, memcache
15. Experience and knowledge of Relational Databases (RDBMS), SQL, Oracle
16. Knowledge of Object Oriented design principles and methodology
17. Experience with Version Control Systems (SVN, Git, etc.)
18. Experience in UNIX systems on a user level
19. Experience with frameworks such as Zend Framework, Prototype (JS), jQuery (JS)

Requirements:

1. Contribute to the design and development of a product feature or sub-system
2. Produce clear, well-communicated, complete designs for product features or sub-systems
3. Participate in architecture discussions and proposes solutions
4. Triage and solve live issues
5. Fix bugs and resolve production issues
6. Develop and maintain up to date technical documentation related to the Project
7. Meet project deliverables on time and with good quality
8. Ensure quality of deliverables as defined by the organization
9. Identifies opportunities for project team productivity improvements or directions
