Role: Mobility Head

Roles & Responsibilities:
 
· Lead the Mobility Practice comprising of Technical Leads and Engineers
· Define the Mobility team KPIs and objectives that align with organizational objectives
· Effective management of a high performing team. Deliver solutions that align with the long-
term strategy
· Design, architect and implement next-generation Mobile application and automation
solutions. Adherence with best practices and principles.
· Own and lead initiatives to define, design and implement Mobile solutions which include
reference architectures, estimates and costing
· Provide technical leadership, project guidance and business development on Mobility space
· Be an SME on Mobile best practices leveraging automation tools to the best
· Perform analysis and recommend best practices and emerging concepts in Mobile area
· Grow the Mobile practice through talent acquisition as well cross / upskilling
· Work with peer engineering teams to collect technical requirements from partners and
customers as input to Mobile technology roadmaps
· Enable go to market strategies of sales team with Mobile solutions and thought leadership
relevant to market demand.
· Responsible for career planning, development, review, and appraisals of the Mobile practice
· Represent company in industry events, forums and negotiations related to Mobile
technologies.
· Nurture alliances and partnerships applicable to ensure success for the Mobile practice.
 
Qualifications:
· 16+ years of overall IT experience with at least 8 years working in Mobile Technologies
· Good understanding of mobile development platforms and mobile ecosystem including
native (iOS, Android), hybrid, RWD and PWA applications.
· Hands-on experience in developing native as well hybrid applications (using React Native and
Flutter).
· Deep knowledge and extensive experience working in mobile application life cycle using
Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin, JavaScript.
· Experience with Mobile applications Continuous Development/Deployment/Integration
design and best practices
· Have a deep understanding of designing and developing frictionless mobile experienced and
understand how to apply them to design pragmatic mobile solutions.
· Experienced in understanding and leveraging popular tools for various mobile application
lifecycle activities like functional, performance & security testing, debugging, monitoring
etc.
· Experience with API with very good understanding of working REST APIs and REST standards.
· Should have worked in the capacity of leading and mentoring teams
· Excellent Communication, Leadership, and Interpersonal skills
