Job Description:
The CRM Technical consultant will act as a technical SME and system administrator for the
internal CRM system. The individual will be responsible for development and maintenance
of the internal Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform and the ideal candidate will have
sound knowledge in Dynamics CRM entities, workflows, configurations, customization
development, integration development, reporting, dashboards, web resources, CRM solution
file management, security model and UI development. Additional areas of responsibility may
include project management, and support service management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Leading or participating in design and architecture sessions with key business users, gathering and documenting business processes and requirements for the system
  2. Architecting the CRM system, related customizations and reports to model the businesses organizational process
  3. Advising business users on best practices for CRM, development or integration processes
  4. Balance business users requests and requirements with technical constraints
  5. Writing technical specifications for planned work
  6. Mocking up specifications for our overseas Live Services team, and facilitating the completion, testing and deployment of development projects
  7. Installing and maintaining versions of 3rd party products such as Click Dimensions, Linked In and Inside View
  8. Building and configuring CRM forms, views, dashboards and workflows
  9. Developing SSRS reports using Microsoft SQL and FetchXML
  10. Working closely with BI project teams or other resources for completion of projects related to the CRM system
  11. Working with internal support members to resolve technical issues with servers, ETL packages, SQL, SSRS and other related technologies to the internal CRM system
  12. Maintain code repository, VSTS backlog and source control
  13. Effectively utilize SDK and 3rd party tools such as XRMToolbox for administration of CRM system
  14. Regularly communicating with the Business Systems Manager and business users on the status of issues and projects
  15. Coordinate with Business Systems Manager to ensure overall business solution is positioned and implemented in line with global architecture and roadmap
  16. Estimating the completion of tasks and managing resource time
  17. Ensuring consistent release management, change management and project approval processes
  18. Support of the application including fixing application issues

Qualifications:

  1. Strong written communications especially related to articulating technical specifications
  2. Overall 5+ years Exp and min 2 years experience with Microsoft Dynamics 2016/365 CRM
  3. Experience in customizations, JavaScript, C#, .NET, HTML, SQL Server, SSRS including plugins, scripting and form creation
  4. Experience with CRM API, REST/ODATA and SOAP endpoints
  5. Strong understanding of and ability to configure security groups, roles and teams
  6. Comfortable using Visual Studio, TFS/VSTS, source control, CRM SDK

Desired Skills:

  1. Knowledge of the O365 platform as it pertains to feature sets that integrate with Dynamics CRM solutions including SharePoint and OneDrive/OneNote
  2. Familiarity with Data Export Service and Azure SQL
  3. SSIS or other ETL technologies
  4. Experience working with consulting services industry or salesforce automation/project service automation solutions
  5. Microsoft Certification
  6. Project Management
