Role: Node JS Developer

Description: 

1. We are looking for “Node JS Developer” for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.
2. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end
3. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application
4. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well

Mandatory Skills & Knowledge:

1. Minimum 2 years of development experience in NodeJS / Express.js, MySQL.
2. Good understanding and experience of HTML / CSS / JavaScript.
3. Must have experience with MySQL and database schema design
4. Expertise with Web Services / REST APIs.
5. Knowledge of AWS services like S3, EC2 would be valuable.
6. Expertise in Agile and CI/CD would be beneficial.
7. Good interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
8. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude
9. Great organizational and time management skills
10. Technologies / Frameworks / Tools / Proficiency
11. Languages/Frameworks: Node JS, Express JS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
12. Database: MySQL
13. Tools: Git, Visual Studio Code
14. OS: Linux, Windows

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Experience in the latest Node version
2. Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code
3. Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions
4. Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.
5. Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
6. Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
7. Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development
8. Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes
9. Database creation & updating custom modules
10. Identify the modules/tasks and prepare the database designs using MySQL Workbench.
11. Coding, Debugging, Unit Testing & Documentation of Code and Application
12. As per the best standard practices and guidelines, code each module within the timeline mentioned in WBS.
13. Debug and unit test the code/module.
14. Use appropriate versioning tools like GIT, SVN, etc.
15. Document the code and application that later can be shared with the client
16. Prepare the user manuals for custom module/code which needs to be shared with the client and used for training purposes as well.
17. Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front- end requests
18. Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements
19. Good knowledge of Service-based architecture/Component based architecture
20. Project Deployment & Maintenance
21. Check all the deployment checklist before putting anything on production
22. Update the security patches whenever those are available.
