Role : OCI admin with windows migration and security expert

Job Description:

1. Experience on complete OCI Administration on strong understanding of Tenancy , VCN, Compartments, Network Layers, handling firewalls, subnet, storage options, FSS, Block Volume, Object storage.
2. Has experience in lift and shift of on-premises windows application running on VMWare to OCI infra-administration (Install, configure, migrations, tuning, patching, administration &monitoring).
3. Hands on experience in writing and modifying Terraform scripts for application deployments on OCI and for managing OCI Infrastructure.
4. Hands on experience performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
5. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
6. Experience in Application of OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
7. Configure/add new services as necessary.
8. Experience on Handling OS related or Application related security vulnerabilities is an added advantage.
9. Exposure to using code repository like GIT.
10. Hands on Experience with provisioning storage, compute nodes, network. and understanding requirements for the same.
11. Experience in Handling Certificate renewals on OCI.
12. Understanding and hands on experience of HA architecture in an OCI environment.
13. Strong understanding of HA concepts in DR and setting up on Infrastructure for DR Site.
14. Experience with IaaS solutions: virtual machines/networks, on-premise/hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity, security models, cloud monitoring, logging, local and cloud storage.
15. Should be well verse with ITIL based service delivery for Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Capacity Management, Configuration Management.
16. Effective collaboration with infrastructure teams, application development teams, testing and release teams.
