Experience: 8 to 10 years

Location: Bangalore

Key Skills: Catalyst 9K/6.5 K, Nexus 7K/5K/2K And BGP, OSPF, ISIS, IP/MPLS, QoS - 4-6 years on (CSCO) products. Hands on experience on Routing and Switching

Required skills:

1. Experience with at least 3 product lines like Catalyst 9000/6500/4500/3850/6800. Engineer must be experienced in and have internal product and/or Architecture knowledge.
2. Experience with at least one - Nexus 7K/5K/2K product lines will be an added advantage.
3. Working knowledge and experience BGP, OSPF, ISIS, IP/MPLS, QoS, Multicast is a definite plus.
4. Experience Implementing /Supporting Layer 2, Layer 3 implementations will be key.
5. Hands-on experience in Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting and/or Network Solution designing of Routers and switches.
6. Executing Migration windows and migration projects will be a plus.
7. Must have hands-on experience of 4-6 years on products
8. A good communications skill is a must. Must have a demonstrated ability to relate to customer representatives at various levels.
9. Must have good technical writing skills and have experience in writing test and implementation / Migration plans.
10. Skills and experience in working independently.
11. Strong interpersonal and teamwork needed

1. Experience on at least 2 product lines like CRS-1/CRS-3, GSR 12000, 7600, ASR9K/ASR1K a plus.
2. Knowledge with at least one competitor platform – Nortel, Juniper, ALU a plus.
3. Knowledge of Virtualization (VMware, Openstack, Tail-f) technologies is desirable.
4. Strong hands-on experience in scripting with Tcl/Expect, Python Java and Perl is desirable.
5. Design solutions for low to medium complex requirements on the R&S solutions
6. Design awareness on the SDA/SDWAN solution
7. Capability to lead design conversations and workshops with the customer and prepare high level and low-level designs
