Location: Bangalore and Chennai

Experience: 3 to 5 years

Mandatory Skills: Postgres SQL, MySQL   

Responsibilities:

1. Should have had in-depth experience with the PostgreSQL in Ubuntu/Windows environment
2. Should be good at writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
3. 3+ years of database design or integration experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL DBs
4. Familiarity with PostgreSQL support for JSON
5. In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring)
6. Ability to write optimized performance tuned queries
7. Preferred to have worked in AWS environment
8. Preferred to have worked on NoSQL DBs like Mongo, DynamoDB
9. Preferred to have worked with any Datawarehousing/BI tools
10. Good grasp of Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) tools
11. Report Development, Configuration & Deployment like Tableau
12. Communicate with front-end developers to define plain yet dynamic APIs
13. Keep a check on data structures and quality of data with DBAs
14. Integrate and maintain database code in procedures, scripts, queries, and views
15. Must have a strong logical and analytical thinking ability
16. Passion to take up challenging assignments and quickly come up with solutions Ability solve complex problems independently and to design applications
17. A “can do” attitude
18. Good communication and Inter-personal skills are a must

Specific technical skills desired include:

1. PostgreSQL
2. My SQL (2 nd preference)
3. Exposure to other technologies is a plus (Oracle, Tableau, MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB)
