Position Overview:
The candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our medium-to-large-scale ServiceMax enterprise software implementation projects. This individual will work to maintain budget, scope and schedule of assigned projects. As needed, the individual will partner with our Product, Engineering, and Sales teams throughout the project to ensure committed roadmap functionality aligns with customer requirements and timeline. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering CRM/Force.com projects on time, on budget, and with a high level of customer satisfaction. They will be effective communicators who
possess critical thinking, decision-making and problem solving skills.
Job description:
- Lead the operational, financial and technological aspects of projects based on timelines and work plans.
- Track project deliverables using project management tools and best practices
- Ability to provide application and business process consulting, including documentation, for implementation of ServiceMax application software
- Translate customer business objectives into tactical plans and strategies with team support as required
- Manage one or more cross-functional project teams comprised of internal and/or partner resources, and request additional resources as required
- Ensure appropriate stakeholder involvement throughout the life of the project
- Ensure required documentation is developed, refined, and signed off at key project milestones
- Manage budget and communicate status, including burn rate, to project executives on a weekly basis or as contractually required
- Understand the client’s information technology governance structure and incorporate in the project plan / budget. Provide feedback to Scoping team as required
- Resolve, document, and / or escalate critical issues as needed in a timely manner to minimize project risk factors
- Develop and oversee leveraged project resources. Provide direct performance feedback to teams and/or individuals and escalate as needed
- Document and evangelize client product requests and requirements. Be a compelling and trusted “voice of customer” when evangelizing the features that will yield the biggest impact in current and future implementations
- Must be able to “think on their feet” and demonstrate a strong ability and initiative to learn
- Effective Risk mitigation & abatement
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Information Technology experience
- 5+ years of experience leading enterprise software implementations with one or more Customer Relationship Management Solution (such as Oracle, SalesForce.com, SAP, Siebel or other CRM software). Configuration experience desired
- Excellent team management skills. Should have experience managing a global project team
- Experience with enterprise integration platforms (such as Informatica, OIC, or MuleSoft)
- Experience with technologies supporting SaaS applications, including XML, Web Services, HTML, Java and JavaScript
- Exposure to Salesforce.com CRM. Salesforce.com certifications a big plus
- Experience with field service operations or customer service management and call center support a big plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Effective at resolving conflict
- PMP certification a big plus
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or related subject
