As part of an evolving global IT department, the Business Analyst (BA) will develop business requirements to support aligning technical solutions with business needs. Requires an individual with a strong understanding of business needs and the Salesforce Sales cloud platform as well as Salesforce CPQ.
The role requires excellent verbal and written communication, analytical skills, ability to facilitate projects, subject matter expertise in sales, marketing, contracting, and related business processes.
In addition, extensive experience with the entire Lead to Cash business processes integrating Sales operations into Finance, Accounting, and backend operational systems. Experience working in disbursed teams, collaborating, and communicating across diverse corporate functions is essential. Experience with business systems implementation is a must.

Job Duties:

• Create business models, roadmaps, and assess capability and process gaps between current and future states. Acts as liaison between business and technical experts when designing solutions through our sales/service platform and ensure they are working consistently to support the organization's vision and strategy.
• Oversee business requirements and functional designs.
• Partner with technology services teams on planning design and development sprints including estimating capacity and level of effort.
• Track, mitigate, escalate, and remediate issues that arise through the Software Development Lifecycle
• Maintain knowledge on business and technology and platform trends that impact the business environment. Identify new projects or opportunities to help grow business.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures in a Healthcare environment (HIPAA, FDA, etc...)
• Work with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Product, and IT business stakeholders to understand their business requirements and information needs.
• Conduct requirements gathering sessions, meetings and presentations and obtain business signoffs at various design, development and roll out project phases.
• Clearly articulate As-Is vs. To-Be business needs through business requirements documentation, inclusive of business use cases, process flows, traceability matrices and report mockups.
• Support technical team in translating requirements into system design and work to close any process/documentation gaps discovered along the way.
• Plan and facilitate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders and support post-go-live training, user feedback and post-mortem project analysis.
• Form a strong working relationship with other business professionals to ensure alignment of business processes, data management and reporting across all corporate functions.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in implementing and using Salesforce Sales Cloud and 2+ years in Salesforce CPQ specialization.
• Must have experience with CRM and ERP. Understand downstream impact of integrated processes to accounting and corporate reporting functions.
• 5+ years of related experience in business analysis and project management.
• 5+ years of experience facilitating on and providing support to both business and technology team members in challenging technical, custom and package software implementation projects in cross-functional and global environments.
• 5+ years of experience supporting Sales, Finance, and Accounting.
• 5+ years modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques such as Lucid Chart, Vizio, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral- comfortable recommending and presenting solutions to senior managers.
• Experience with License Management/subscription models/tools a plus.
• Undergraduate degree in financial or business discipline a must. Graduate degree preferred.
• Experience overseeing and/or participating in large, complex transformation projects.
• Experience working on agile teams, SCRUM teams and SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
