Role: Salesforce CPQ Developer

Experience: 3 to 18 years

Primary Work Locations: Pune / Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad

Responsibilities:

Your responsibility is to understand the customer’s business requirements, design and implement business technology solutions focused on cloud-based business applications, specifically, Salesforce CPQ, and other custom solutions while keeping Salesforce/Vlocity best practices in mind.  

1. A Quote to Cash industry specialist, with the ability to elegantly solve complex back-office challenges
2. Strong understanding of CPQ processes and operations as they apply to: subscriptions, order orchestration, activation, revenue recognition, invoice generation, taxation, payment processing, and general ledger processing and management
3. Excellent collaborating skills to effectively partner with and advise product managers, IT engineers, Operations, Finance and the stakeholders involved in the Quote to Cash engagements

Technical Skills:

1. Must have basic understanding of financial management and accounting practices, general ledger, revenue recognition, payment processing , invoicing , finance etc.
2. Experience with Salesforce configuration and Salesforce Customization (hands on with APEX)
3. Hands on with CPQ Configurations like Product Catalogue setup, Prices/Product rules, Advance approvals, Quote templates.
4. Experience in Multi-Dimensional Quoting, Advance orders, Quote Calculator Plugin
5. Experience in other CPQ solutions like Steelbrick, Vlocity, Apptus, Big Machines, Callidus, Zuora, ModelN etc is desirable
6. Knowledge of Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ Best Practices
7. Ability to get hands-on to solve problems and demonstrate certain development patterns.
8. Process modeling tools and best practices
9. Project management tools and best practices
