Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Integration Developer with expertise in Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) and Chat integration to join our dynamic team. As a Salesforce Integration Developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our customer experience by seamlessly integrating CTI and Chat functionalities into our Salesforce platform. Your technical proficiency and innovative mindset will contribute to the optimization of our communication channels and the overall efficiency of our sales and customer support processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, administrators, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand integration requirements and design efficient CTI and Chat solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and other relevant technologies, ensuring high-quality code that aligns with best practices and coding standards.
• Implement CTI integrations, enabling automatic call routing, screen pop-ups, and call logging while ensuring seamless synchronization of call data with Salesforce records.
• Design and implement Chat integrations, allowing real-time communication between agents and customers within the Salesforce platform.
• Work closely with third-party vendors and APIs to establish robust connections between Salesforce and external CTI and Chat systems.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions to maintain a reliable and effective communication infrastructure.
• Collaborate in the development of test cases, perform thorough testing of integrations, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure end-to-end functionality and performance.
• Document technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and integration processes for reference and future enhancements.
• Stay current with industry trends and Salesforce updates, recommending and implementing improvements to our integration strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong focus on integration projects, particularly CTI and Chat integrations.
• Proficiency in Salesforce technologies including Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience working with CTI systems and protocols, such as Open CTI and Telephony API (TAPI).
• Familiarity with Chat platforms and protocols, with expertise in integrating real-time messaging solutions.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex integration challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer, Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer) are a plus.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies is advantageous.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
