Position Overview:

1. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you’ll help design, develop, configure, maintain, and support complex applications that expand the use of Salesforce as a custom development platform, a sales automation tool, a CRM application, and the backbone of many other business processes.
2. You’ll work as part of a team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on the various user group needs.
3. You’ll make a critical impact through your involvement with a custom-built Digital Experience that supports 50,000+ users within the company as well as a Sales Cloud application.
4. You’ll thoroughly understand the business use cases and work with the Sales team to build customized and out-of-the-box solutions with robust documentation. 
5. You’ll have responsibility for participating in all aspects of Salesforce configuration and customization including functional and technical documentation, testing, implementation of applications, and 3rd party integrations.
6. As the Salesforce Developer, you’ll demonstrate high business and technical acumen while also understanding Salesforce product capabilities/configurations.

Job description:

1. Build new Salesforce solutions leveraging standard configuration and/or custom code
2. Manage the application Digital Experience (aka Salesforce “Community”)
3. Design and implementation of new Salesforce objects, automated processes, custom layouts and other standard Salesforce configuration
4. Design, coding and implementation of APEX code Triggers, Classes, Lightning pages and components
5. Creating Permission Sets, Permission Set Groups, Profiles, Roles, Users, Email Services Reports, Dashboards, Tasks and Actions
6. Build and execute data loads, set up and manage security and user permissions
7. Develop reporting and dashboard functions as well as business intelligence analytics
8. Assist by making change recommendations, technology research, and assessments to identify Salesforce solutions for best strategic, functional, and technical fit
9. Maintain appropriate professional designations and up-to-date knowledge of current information technology techniques and tools
10. Responsible for working with onshore teams and technical leads to understand business requirements and design specifications and develop code in accordance with design specifications.

Requirements:

4+ year experience with Salesforce development, including:

1. Experience in design, coding and implementing APEX code Triggers, Classes, Controllers (for use with Lightning Components) and Test Classes.
2. Experience building Lightning Web Components and Aura Components.
3. Strong JavaScript skills, including ECMAScript 6+, AJAX, Modules, and Promises
4. Experience querying Salesforce data using SOQL and SOSL. Experience querying other databases using SQL is a plus.
5. Experience in design and implementation of new Salesforce objects, Lightning Record Pages, Page Layouts, Validation Rules and other standard Salesforce customization.
6. Experience building Record Triggered and Screen Flows.
7. Experience with Agile DevOps processes, such as Scrum.
8. Experience managing a Salesforce development pipeline, including sandbox management, source control (ideally GitHub) and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools.
9. Experience building Salesforce using the Visual Studio Code Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
10. Strong knowledge of the Salesforce Metadata API, including the ability to create and deploy to Salesforce using the SFDX Command Line.
11. Knowledge of Sales Cloud, Digital Experience (Community) Cloud, Tableau CRM
12. Demonstrated experience in SFDC administration: Creating Permission Sets, Permission Set Groups, Profiles, Roles, Users, Email Services Reports, Dashboards, Tasks and Actions
13. Functional knowledge and great customer support for the Salesforce platform
14. Well versed in CRM practices and technology platforms and key integration points
15. Ability to work on multiple tasks and deliver results with aggressive timelines.
16. Experience in full development life cycle from technical design to development, testing, deployment, and support.

Good to have:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
2. Informatica experience
3. Einstein Dataflow/Dataset/Dashboard development a plus
4. Understanding of Salesforce platform limits and licensing
5. Certification(s): Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and/or II, Salesforce Certified Sales/Service Consultant, Salesforce Certified Community Cloud Consultant, Certified Integration Architecture Designer, Certified Platform App Builder
