Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - API Integrations (Microsoft Cloud Stack), Product Engineering

Job Overview:

The Senior Software Engineer - API Integrations has proven work experience with strong analytical skills to collect, organize, and translate business requirements into designing, building, and maintaining scalable API integrations on the Microsoft Cloud Stack. This includes working with Azure, Azure API Management, and other related technologies to deliver high-quality integrations. You will also be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of API design and development, a passion for solving complex problems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Develop and enhance new and existing solutions for our integrations API
2. Collaborate with customers and partners on B2B integrations
3. Participate in requirements gathering, technical specification, design, and development of software for customer facing applications
4. Promote software engineering best practices
5. Design and build scalable software solutions on the Microsoft Cloud Stack using Azure Services and Azure API Management Power Platform and other related technologies
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
7. Maintain and enhance existing software solutions
8. Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues
9. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices
10. Work with stakeholders and designers to develop user friendly and intuitive web applications for SAAS platform
11. Participate in requirements gathering, technical specification, design, and development of software for customer facing applications
12. Promote software engineering best practices

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
2. 5+ years of experience delivering commercial cloud-based software applications with rich UIs that scale gracefully across different browsers and devices
3. Self-starter with a strong work ethic and desire to write clean maintainable code
4. Experience as a technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle
5. Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the Web Services and API layer
6. Expertise Azure Cloud Platform
7. Sold experience with OData and NoSQL DBs
8. Experience in cloud-based development using Azure Services including functions applications
9. Strong understanding of API’s and web service concepts such as REST, SOAP, and XML/JSON business object representations
10. Experience in Azure Event Hub, APM, Azure Service Bus, Cosmos DB, designing and building Microservices framework is a plus
11. Experience working with geographically dispersed software development teams
12. Solid knowledge of modern software technologies and practices including microservices, CI/CD, and container-based technologies
13. Expert knowledge of REST API development
14. Experience with the Microsoft Cloud Stack, including Power Platform, Azure Services and Azure DevOps
15. Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C#, TypeScript, and JavaScript
16. Working knowledge of Git and Azure Devops CI\CD Pipelines
17. Strong problem-solving and communication skills
18. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
19. Attention to detail with the ability to analyze and solve complex problems as well as provide solution, guidance, and instruction to Jr Developers.
20. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
21. Ability to proactively plan, organize, and deliver with limited oversight, prioritize, and quickly adapt to changing situations
