Role: Service Now Architect
Location: Bangalore / Pune / Hyderabad
Experience: 10 to 15 yrs
What's this role about?
- This role is about day-to-day building/ designing, configuring, installing, managing, and monitoring with respect to IP Telephony infrastructure.
- This role demands a strong hands-onexperience on the relevant IP Telephony, specially (Wired, Wireless,Security) Meraki networks
Here's how you'll contribute:
- Work with team members and leads to understand the IP Telephony infrastructure to support effectively
- Have good technical expertise reviewing architecture, policies, and procedures to ensure the security, back-up, failover, alerting, and recovery mechanisms
- Provide hands on support for a variety of issues occurs in wireless network environment
- Day to day troubleshooting on the issues related to IPT, CCTV and AV systems.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in technical solution design and implementation of the ServiceNowapplication.
- Proven management / influencing abilities.
- Ability to produce documentation at various levels including technical and customer facing.
- Knowledge of IT and Enterprise Service Management is critical.
- Expertise and experience with ServiceNow or an equivalent ITSM toolset are essential.
- ServiceNow experience in the areas of ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, CSM or HR products are highly
- desirable.
- ServiceNow Certifications in all areas are highly desirable.
- Experience in multiple application architectures and supporting technologies.
- Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Key Deliverables:
- Lead and deliver requirements, scoping and design workshops, ensuring requirements are well documented
- Provide expert level support and technical mentoring to implementation team
- Maintain deep, comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow’s capabilities and constraints.
- Recognize and develop opportunities to leverage ServiceNow as a platform.
- As a senior technical member of the team, deliver hands-on configuration, development and integration services and serve in a delivery assurance capacity for all project deliverables
- Plan and coordinate all phases of testing and test acceptance; design and oversee development of testing related work products; lead test remediation cycles
- Support practice build efforts to include development of practice intellectual property (IP)
- Develop and present business case material for senior prospect and customer stakeholders
- Create and deliver tailored presentations and product demonstrations
- Scoping and delivering Proof of Concept / Proof of Value engagements with prospects
- Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents
- In conjunction with Sales Personnel and Professional Services, conduct transition briefing – communicate commitments, expectations, etc in preparation for deployment
- Act as the ServiceNow subject matter expert at Executive briefings/marketing events
- Work closely with our business partners and technical SMEs, providing oversight and recommendations on how best to accomplish new requirements
- Be accountable for enforcing best practices, ensuring smooth ServiceNow upgradeability
- Be responsible for the implementation, ongoing enhancements, and support of all integrations with ServiceNow
- Ensure best practices are enforced and that advanced configurations don’t endanger future upgrades and system performance
- Lead/contribute to the evaluation/execution of ServiceNow upgrades, reviewing impact on integrations and making changes as needed
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle
- Adhere to IT Change Management and best practices
- Investigate and fix advanced (3rd level) application issues
