Job Description:

Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years of Development Experience in Salesforce B2C Commerce

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience as an SFCC/Demandware Architect/Lead/SFCC Developer/Engineer
• Building cross-browser, cross-device compatible pages adhering to industry best practices
• Developing templates and content slots using ISML, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX and integrate with Pipelines / Controllers / SFRA on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) platform
• Maintaining existing code and assets and troubleshooting bugs within a complex, global code base
• Provide level of effort for all projects, as well as provide direction on scope and determine overall feasibility
• Active participation through all phases of the development lifecycle
• Drive web development initiatives to continually enhance and optimize e-commerce infrastructure
• Ensure the adherence to coding and SFCC best practices across the team
• Serve as technical expert with deep experience with both front-end and back-end development on the SFCC platform
• Build strong relationships with core team and business stakeholder
• Exhibit a flexible and collaborative approach in a fast-paced environment
• Provide recommendations on ways to improve CI/CD - DevOps processes
• Support existing environment including functional enhancements and issue resolution

Skills Required:

• Deep understanding of e-commerce, the topology of commerce systems, and the e-commerce ecosystem
• Deep knowledge of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) ecosystem and best practices
• Understanding of how to make web components reusable and testable
• Understanding of restful APIs
• Understanding of MVC, SOA and asynchronous file exchanges
• Ability to take business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (Git strategies, Unit Tests, build processes)
• Participate in all aspects of implementing new eCommerce solutions in an agile environment including design, development, and testing.
• Must have SFRA work experience and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• B2C Developer certification
• B2C Architect Certification
