Job Summary:

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced database specialist/administrator

having expertise in Snowflake. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our

company's database systems, ensuring high performance, availability, and security of our data

and helping analytics team to generate the report using BI Tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities:

1. Administer, monitor, and maintain the company's database systems, ensuring high performance, availability, and security
2. Optimize database systems for maximum performance and scalability.
3. Work closely with other teams to integrate Snowflake into existing systems and applications.
4. Configure and manage Snowflake database security, including user management, roles, and permissions.
5. Work with the development team to design and implement database solutions for new projects.
6. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, including optimizing query performance and improving database response times.
7. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in database management, data warehousing, and cloud-based solutions.
8. Document database design & solution, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in database management and administration, with at least 1 year of experience working with Snowflake.
3. Experience with ETL tools, SQL, and data modeling.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
6. Experience with other cloud-based data warehousing solutions such as Google Cloud SQL,Google BigQuery .

Preferred Qualifications:

1. SnowPro certification
2. Experience with cloud-based database solutions such as AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, or Microsoft Azure SQL
3. Experience with data modeling and BI tools such as Tableau, Informatica, or Power BI
