Job description: 

We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our dynamic team.
As a Tableau Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive visualizations and dashboards using Tableau software.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and create insightful visualizations that drive decision-making and
provide actionable insights. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into interactive Tableau visualizations and dashboards.
• Design and develop Tableau workbooks, dashboards, and data visualizations to effectively communicate complex data insights.
• Perform data analysis and profiling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets.
• Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.
• Provide Tableau training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize Tableau for data analysis and reporting.
• Stay current with Tableau best practices, new features, and industry trends to continuously improve Tableau solutions.
• Troubleshoot Tableau performance issues and provide solutions to enhance overall system performance.
• Document Tableau solutions, including data sources, calculations, and dashboard functionality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of Tableau visualizations and dashboards.
• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep Builder.
• Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data modeling concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• OBIEE knowledge is a plus.
