Technical Product Manager

We are an early stage startup looking to disrupt the no code platform market. Our products will deliver technology and processes, to help businesses deliver value while leveraging their data and processes. Backed by a strong founding team, we are ambitious to grow the product with passionate product owners who can balance vision and execution and who don't mind rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.

About The Role

In this role, you’ll collaborate directly with customers, internal stakeholders, and engineering teams to bring new and innovative features to market. Unlike some product roles, this one is soup to nuts. From conception to delivery you will own your roadmap, have resources to execute it, and be expected to market/sell it.

What you’ll do:

• Research. Constantly stay abreast of the competitive landscape and market trends to help inform new features
• Write. Collaborate with engineering teams to produce requirements for feature functionality that reflects market needs and product strategy.
• Plan. Own the creation and maintenance of a realistic product backlog and roadmap.
• Execute. Work with engineering to deliver feature functionality from sprint planning to QA.
• Enable. Empower market teams with relevant information on company strategy, roadmap, and differentiation points that enable market facing disciplines from sales to product marketing.
• Sell. Regularly, and actively participate in sales conversations.
• Listen. Collate feedback from sales prospects and customers to help refine roadmap decisions.

Skills & Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 3-5 years of product experience, and a successful track record of building and leading the development of large scale enterprise software solutions.
• Is a hands-on product manager who can “walk and chew gum” at the same time - go deep in the weeds with product and engineering when required and operate strategically when needed.
• Is able to communicate up and down the stack - be it with executive leadership, or at a deep functional/technical level with engineers, or with customers to understand not just what they need today but what they will need in the future.
• Is an execution-focused and self-aware leader, with the ability to drive accountability in oneself and others.
• Relishes and thrives working in a less-structured fast-paced environment.
• Is a data-driven and results-oriented leader with ability to attract and hire world-class talent.
• Is a collaborative consensus builder who can operate effectively among peer executives.
• Is experienced with the no code landscape and has a firm grasp of the underpinning mechanics of the internet.
• Is a strong writer and editor. You’re fluent in human languages as well as technical. You can communicate complicated technical concepts elegantly.
• Has demonstrated empathy for developers. Maybe you have worked as an engineer in the past and appreciate the challenge of the engineering role.
• Is comfortable with and excited about talking to customers.
• Is creative, intellectually curious, with good problem-solving skills.
