Job Title: Technical Product Manager (Life Sciences Industry Focus - SaaS)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Manager to join our team and drive the development of our life science-focused cloud-based platform. The successful candidate will have a strong background in product management and a track record of defining and delivering successful SaaS products.

As a Technical Product Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for the product definition process for new and existing life science-focused SaaS products. This includes conducting market research, gathering customer feedback, and working closely with cross-functional teams to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. You will also be responsible for managing the product development process, ensuring that products are delivered on time and to a high level of quality.

You will work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders to gather customer requirements, and collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, document and test Product capabilities across multiple feature areas.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Lead the definition of requirements for the Platform, covering functional and non-functional requirements
2. Work closely with the engineering team to translate customer, business, and compliance needs into technical requirements and capabilities
3. Work with internal and external stakeholders to synthesize, generalize and prioritize requirements across multiple projects and feature areas
4. Partner with Product Marketing and the Commercial team to understand industry trends and define features that anticipate customer demand
5. Own the strategy and drive the planning and execution of the Platform roadmap
6. Identify essential and critical requirements, and effectively trace requirements to design and test cases
7. Learn and deeply understand all the Products
8. Work closely with Validation and Documentation Team to deliver a validated platform
9. Be an evangelist of company's value proposition and Platform capabilities with current and potential customers

Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience -

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, preferably with a focus on the life science industry
2. 2-5 years of experience delivering commercial cloud-based software applications with rich UIs that scale gracefully across different browsers and device as a Product Owner
3. Platform first mindset i.e., ability to translate specific customer use cases into broader digital health capabilities that can be generalized and scaled
4. Strong communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate roadmap priorities, risks, roadblocks, interdependencies, and constraints with internal and external stakeholders
5. Experience in working in an environment following Agile methodology
6. Experience providing technical leadership and making decisions and recommendations backed by data and sound judgment
7. Strong understanding of market research and customer feedback processes
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
10. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice to have:

1. Experience with Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, or Diagnostics products in the Quality, Regulatory, or manufacturing space.
2. Some familiarity with healthcare and data privacy regulations e.g. 21 CFR part 11, 21 CFR part 820, Cybersecurity
3. Understanding of the life science industry and the specific needs and challenges faced by life science organizations
4. Experience leading nearshore and/or offshore development partner
