Job description:

1. Good understanding of Teradata Architecture (On-Premises /Cloud) and Teradata CLDM Models understanding.
2. Hands-on implementation experience with Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)/Data lake/ODS/Big data platforms
3. Advanced understanding of highly available infrastructures in a cloud services environment, with either AWS or Azure or GCP Platforms
4. Deep understanding of cloud concepts (regions, zones, VMs, containers, VPC, tenants, authentication/security, logging, RDS, shared model etc).
5. Experience on developing Microservices architecture using RESTful Services, Ansible Scripts etc.
6. Expertise with IP networking principles, DNS, certificate management, routing, load balancing and security (VNET, Private link services, firewall, API gateway)
7. Hands on experience with Cloud platform, scripting tools, including PowerShell, CLI, JavaScript, Shell scripts, Python, or similar languages
8. Experience in implementing, debugging & troubleshooting enterprise applications using Azure platform services, like Azure app service, Azure SQL, Microservices
9. Prior experience on designing solutions using cloud platforms, tools, and technologies such as EC2, S3, ELB, CloudFormation, Lambada, CloudWatch, VPC, Direct Connect, AWS CLI, REST API, and JSON.
10. Understanding of the Automation and Delivery Layer – CI / CD Pipeline and techniques (Jira, git; Jenkins, Terraform etc.)
11. Knowledge of scalability in high volume, low latency transactional systems
12. Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and team building skills and establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members
13. Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to deliver quality product
14. Design, implement and deploy web-based multi-tenant, cloud native front-end applications and back-end services to provide manageability and operational visibility to our Vantage cloud platform offerings
