Role: Unix Shell Scripting

Location: Chennai, Pune, Noida and Nagpur

Job Description:

1. Hands on Experience on Unix/Linux, and writing shell script
2. Experience of working on Database like Oracle, Teradata
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
4. Triaging issues (Job failures, Env. issues, DB issues, Data issues etc.) in production to avoid Data Delays and SLA Breaches by involving all required stakeholders through laid down Incident Management procedures
5. Leading incident and problem management calls and participate in Root Cause Analysis.
6. Follow-up with the required teams e.g. Development team for status on Permanent fixes for code issues, Infra/SA teams for Env/server issue, ADBA/SDBA for DB issues
7. Review/Approve upcoming changes(Project CRs, Emergency Fixes etc)
8. Plan/Support various maintenance and upgrade activities(DB/Server/Software)
