Job description:

1. Vlocity Salesforce Developer is responsible for the development and integration of custom solutions like Vlocity, Apex classes, Visualforce, and more on the Salesforce platform.
2. Able to Build and configure Vlocity applications to meet business requirements
3. Understanding the functional requirements, support detailed documentation of systems and feature, and work on technical designs
4. Able to troubleshoot and debug issues and provide resolutions
5. Design, implement, and trouble-shoot scalable and reusable software/API systems: n-tier and cloud-based systems.
6. Knowledge and Proven application development experience of min.
7. 3 years in Vlocity – CPQ/EPC & OM Actively support configuration management of code and software.
8. Act as liaison between external vendors and internal product, business, engineering, and design teams.
9. Provide (technical) leadership to build, motivate, guide, scale, and mentor team members including performance management coaching
10. Actively participate in coding exercises and peer code reviews as part of the development life cycles and change management.
11. Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings.  

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 4 - 6 years’ experience in Salesforce and 2-3 years’ experience in Vlocity 
2. Hands-on experience in developing Vlocity components - Omniscript, DataRaptor, Document Template, Apex Language, VisualForce, Lighting Web Components, Customer Objects, Lightning Design system (LDS) etc. 
3. Vlocity certification is preferred - Working in Salesforce and Vlocity- Design, Development and Deployment of Vlocity components 
4. Experience in designing and implementing complex rules 
5. Experience in Components with web-based technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and modern frameworks like Angular, jQuery, React.js or similar. 
6. Hands on Salesforce experience with Salesforce Cloud 
7. Knowledge of Salesforce REST, SOAP and Metadata API and integration experience with calling external REST/SOAP APIs and web services from Salesforce 
8. Must be comfortable working with structured data interchange formats including JSON and XML 
9. Knowledge of agile processes, software development lifecycle and supporting tools 
10. Experience in CI/CD – GitHub, Jenkins etc. 
11. Should have good communication skill with positive attitude 
12. Quick learner, good analytical thinking 
13. Strong technical team leadership and project delivery including via vendors. 
14. Good to have: Full stack engineering knowledge / experience, with an emphasis on Micro Services development, UI development using Angular / React, Data base systems etc. 

Good to have:

1. Web API experience and architectural styles (e.g., REST).
2. Python or other scripting language experience 
3. Bachelor level degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field of study.
