Relevant Exp: 3-4 years with Zuora solution/implementations

Job description:

The solution architect is a key member of the professional services team responsible for the design and architecture. The position needs strong consulting skills with the ability to effective communication skills. The solution architect plays a lead role during the implementation, identifying, and documenting client business requirements, mapping and configuring the Zuora solution to meet the client’s requirements and providing guidance to the client to achieve a successful implementation. They must identify potential issues and risks early in an implementation to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans. A solid candidate will have an innate ability to simplify complex technology concepts and to plan, prioritize and seamlessly integrate all moving parts to deploy successful solutions.

Key Skills: Zuora Administrator or Developer Certifications, Familiarity with ITIL practices 

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Must have enterprise level experience, within a professional services organization, as a Solution Architect and/or Business Consultant with a leading technology consulting or product company, delivering moderate to complex ERP, billing, revenue, procurement and/or CRM solutions (Salesforce experience is a plus)
2. Demonstrated leadership abilities to lead business discussions with customers and architect the value of our solution and the best practices to implement it
3. Experience in requirements gathering, use cases documentation, business analysis, systems design and integration, user interface design and implementation
4. Experience in data analysis, conversion and migration, interfaces and reports
5. Experience with gap analysis and blueprint development
6. Experience with system design using configuration and/or customization, integration, testing and support
7. Experience in delivering end to end solutions through the entire SDLC – right from running the client facing workshops, design, build, test, deployment, UAT and handover
8. Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies
9. Must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills at the business and technical level, able to collaborate as part of a diverse and distributed team to deliver exceptional customer results in a rapid paced implementation environment
10. Experience with accounting and be able to converse effectively with Finance teams
11. Experienced in technical accounting and IFRS / ASC606 is a plus
12. Experience managing tasks on multiple projects simultaneously
13. Experience in Revenue solutions will be an added advantage.
14. Hands-on expertise in any ERP, CRM, or Corporate Applications like Oracle, NetSuite, SFDC, SAP, Microsoft ERPs like Dynamics 365, AX, Navision.
15. Should have experience with external application integration through SOAP and REST APIs. 
16. Should have excellent communication skills oral, written, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
17. Should be able to take initiative and have the ability to work both independently and within a team. 

Must have exposure to below:

1. Expert Knowledge on Account, contact and billing, payment, and Tax setup.
2. Excellent hands on Order actions for subscription management
3. Excellent Understanding to Product catalog and charge models
4. Experience in Bill Runs, Billing Document posting, cancel, apply payment and DM/CM along with regenerate and share billing documents.
5. Exceptional knowledge on configure reports, Share, and extract data from data sources.
6. High-level Knowledge on Revenue recognition and AR
7. Exceptional knowledge Workflows, test and integrate with Tax Engines.
8. Product catalog, Quoting templates and subscription lifecycle management.
9. Understanding on Application processors, Data augmentation
10. Hands on JavaScript, SQL, CSS, jQuery, Python, Rest/Soap APIs etc.,
11. Zuora Admin/Developer Certification
